This workshop will be a full day spent with Ken McDowall, famed breeder of the Rotokawa® Devon herd, and Ridge Shinn, founder and co-owner of Rotokawa Cattle Co. and Hardwick Beef. Ken will share his breeding philosophy and his methods of appraisal of cattle. The seminar starts at 8:00 AM. The afternoon program will include a visit to the Rotokawa® Devon herd, which now resides in Hardwick, Mass.
There will be time for questions, and Ken and Ridge will field questions and talk further about the herd and its impact on the future of 100% grass-fed and finished beef. Be prepared with your questions for Ken, since this is your chance to learn from this Master Breeder.
